State-Wide MLS Embraces Unified Tech Platform with RealReports Integration
In a significant move to modernize its technology stack, State-Wide MLS—the multiple listing service operated by the Rhode Island Association of Realtors—has announced a partnership with RealReports. This collaboration will provide the organization’s more than 6,000 subscribers with a unified platform combining AI-powered property analysis, lead generation, and comprehensive tax and public records data, effectively replacing several legacy systems with a single workflow.
The agreement grants agents access to the full RealReports ecosystem. This includes the core RealReports property data platform, its Prospector lead generation tool, and Taxshot, a nationwide tax and public records database. A key aspect of the rollout is State-Wide MLS replacing its existing, separate tax and records provider with Taxshot. This integration allows subscribers to access nationwide property data and AI-generated reports directly within one interface, streamlining research and client presentation tasks.
What RealReports and Taxshot Bring to Agents
RealReports aggregates property data from nearly 100 disparate sources into a single, detailed report. Agents using the platform can view a property’s complete profile, including ownership history, liens, zoning details, and climate risk assessments. A standout feature is Aiden, an AI-powered property advisor that lets agents ask natural language questions about a property and receive instant, data-driven answers.
Taxshot complements this by providing streamlined access to nationwide tax assessment and public records data. Its tools are designed to automatically populate property details and MLS listing fields, which can significantly reduce manual data entry during listing preparation and property research.
Part of a Broader MLS Technology Shift
This adoption aligns with a growing trend among multiple listing services seeking to consolidate fragmented technology. “MLSs are under more pressure than ever to deliver meaningful technology for their members,” said Zach Gorman, Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of RealReports. “State-Wide MLS has been incredibly thoughtful about how they equip their subscribers, and we’re excited to provide a modern solution that replaces legacy tax systems while giving them powerful tools to research properties, generate leads, and better serve their clients.”
Gorman noted in an email to Inman that RealReports is seeing increased adoption as MLSs pursue unified platforms. Recent partners include California Regional MLS (CRMLS), the nation’s second-largest MLS, which recently expanded access. Other adopters include MLS Now in Ohio, Doorify MLS in North Carolina, and Georgia’s First Multiple Listing Service.
